Selling a business involves several steps. We at Vested Business Brokers follow these steps to ensure a successful transaction.
1. Initial Consultation: We will consult with the seller to determine the proper method for marketing their business.
2. Customized Plan: We will develop a customized marketing plan for the business, then analyze and modify the plan as necessary to produce the best response.
3. Arrange Meetings: We will arrange meetings between the seller and buyers. VBB will always be present at these meetings to ensure that both the seller and the buyer are represented properly.
4. Offer to Purchase: Vested will prepare and present a formal Offer to Purchase, to be reviewed and approved by the seller.
5. Due Diligence: Vested will coordinate due diligence inspections by the buyer in a manner that is beneficial for the buyer and seller.
6. Arrange Transfers: Vested will consult with the buyer, the seller, and any outside advisors regarding transfers of all leases, licenses, etc.
7. Contract & Closing: Vested will attend the closing of the sale to assist in making the sale go as smoothly as possible for all parties.
